Christopher Peter Meloni has been a popular American actor for many years. The actor is best known for the roles he played in "Law and Order Special Victims Unit". While in college, Christopher Meloni has been attracted to the world of acting. He studied acting at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Though he's appeared in films and on television however, it's his characters portrayed on small screens that has earned him fame. The ability of his characters to appear from both sides of the law has captured the attention of viewers. He portrayed the role of a serial killer on the first TV series he appeared in however he later chose to portray the character of an NYPD detective. His small-screen performances have been recognized with multiple Emmy Awards nominations and PRISM Awards. One of his most striking facial traits is believed to have been the piercing blue eyes which have allowed him to portray characters who appear rough and fascinating. The year 2006 was the last time he appeared in the People's publication's Sexiest Men Alive list.
